  1. It was a mite chilly, and, yes, vests to be worn for the first time!

FWIW, I had some favourable comment at Cobwebs last Tuesday on "Your (sic) brass group at Warkworth show." I hastened to enlighten the lady, who is a Classical music lover and plays 2nd violin in Cobwebs. She was actually very complimentary.

On a more serious note, I think we have become a lot better known in the last year or so, which is Good News - we aren't just doing primary schools, though actually I think catching the ear of the young is a good thing to do, even if they do get a bit hysterical.

  2. I didn't think it was that chilly at first but towards the end the fingers were feeling the cold perhaps sone of those fingerless gloves may be needed but hey we don't have that many outdoor events between now and next spring do we?

    Enjoyed yesterday very much!!

  3. I agree with the fingerless gloves something that came to mind yesterday on more than one occasion. I don't know about the cake as I had the cream tea.. it was scrummy but gigantic.
